Insight Introduction

Insight Environmental, Engineering and Construction, Inc. (Insight) merged with Geofon, Inc., a 24-year-old firm with a successful history of providing practical and innovative approaches on civil, environmental, construction, and engineering projects.  Insight has merged the assets, employees, experience, capabilities, relationships and philosophies of Geofon.

Insight is a licensed general construction, environmental remediation, and engineering firm capable of providing specialized services in normal and in rapid response/emergency situations for Civil Construction, Remediation, Fueling Facilities, Environmental Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, and Security and Safety Services.

Insight is a proven and experienced contractor performing services on federal, state, and local government projects.  Our history of high performance evaluations serves as proof-positive that Insight is indeed fully capable of meeting and exceeding the standards and expectations of our clients.  For example, Geofon was a 2000 Graduate of the 8(a) Program of the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).  In October 2002, Geofon was honored as “8(a) Graduate of the Year” by the SBA and the Los Angeles Minority Business Opportunity Committee (LAMBOC).  Insight is certified by the Las Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).  We are committed to supporting the local and federal small business programs by providing subcontracting and teaming opportunities to small, disadvantaged, woman, and disabled veteran owned businesses.

Insight has experience performing environmental, construction, and engineering services for federal, local government, commercial, and private clients.  Notable project experience includes fueling systems, construction at DoD installations and at municipal bus maintenance facilities, habitat restorations in compliance with US Department of Fish and Wildlife, and drainage systems and levee construction.  Insight has performed rapid response environmental and construction services including environmental cleanup and earthwork in the aftermath of a military aircraft crash, and building renovation/repair services in the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma.
