Merger With Geofon, Inc.

Insight’s merger with Geofon, Inc. occurred after the untimely death of Geofon’s founder and sole owner, Iskandar “Alex” Khan.  The top managers of Geofon formed a separate company (Insight Environmental, Engineering & Construction, Inc.) to purchase all assets of Geofon, Inc. from the Alex Khan estate.  This asset purchase was completed in the form of a merger with the complete knowledge and support of our bank, bonding, and insurance institutions.

The continuance of work during this merger period was seamless and without any disruption of service.  Because the key managers of Geofon became the key managers of Insight, and the employees of Geofon became the employees of Insight, and all equipment and facilities of Geofon became the equipment and facilities of Insight, the only difference our clients saw was the addition of a logo.
